That’s right betches, in case you didn’t KNOW! now ya KNOW! This is where I’m at on the political musical spectrum. Let me be clear, LOVE Rizzo & Frenchie, but my Frenchie fix gets more than taken care of in Grease 2! and Rizzo, I’ll take ya in Practical Magic doses instead! Otherwise, IDNGAF about this gahtdamn movie/musical (OG Grease), seriously, if I could unhear Summer Lovin’… (P.S. there’s no way we can be true friends if you’ve sung any Grease 1 karaoke)! THEN think of utter BRILLIANCE of Cool Rider?! Score Tonight, REPRODUCTION…Ya’ll! My formative fave was Do it for our Country…kids are fucking WEIRDOS. Anyways, fashion wise, Michelle Pfeiffer’s ICONIC outfit in the Cool Rider number…it’s always the goal. Homies, HOLLER if you can HEAR this!

2. BLACK CINDERELLA!!!!
YA’LL this is not up for debate, much like systemic racism! Please, PLEASE watch the Black Cinderella BTS vid below, if it does not bring up a whole fleet of emotions for you, check your temp, you might be DEAD! I’m having a hard time typing, as I’m so overwhelmed about where to start this rant and where to go with it. This was hella formative for me, 1997, you might have noticed (or known) this year holds a lot of weight in my life, but in retrospect I think it was a really important time for america too.
I was in whiter than white Steamboat Springs, CO. crazy for Whitney since the beginning of my musical existence. My OG tape rotation was The Bodyguard sdtrk, Des’ree I Ain’t Moving, & Seal (94). IDK how I got here, but I think it’s thanks to my ‘97 self.
And guess what, THIS, OUT IN 1997, helped a lil werido creative indoor kid like me, find a future I could hard resonate with [the rainbow cast?! YUSSSS PULEASE!!!!!!]. Whitney’s death is something I’ll never be over and my contempt for all the people surrounding her, using her, stifling her, harming her, will NEVER END! Looking at you GAHTDAMN BOBBY BROWN, but it wasn’t ALL on you…
I hope my heart never stops fluttering when I see this incredible human unleash herself in music. RIP my girl.

I doubt anyone is trying to go to bat for the self important wyt guys of Oasis…but come on @ me. Sophia Urista also does a fab cover of the Smashing Pumpkins, Today. This powerhouse artist has a great instagram, newly engaged [congrats!] to Peloton Qween Jess King, and is also part of Brass Against, “We combine rock and edgy hip-hop to play music that's powerful and empowering. Brass Against is exceptional music with a political edge.” Fuck yah! Don’t sleep on this artiste!
4. HARRY POTTER FANFIC
COME @ME! Full disclosure, these books are not embedded into my formative fabric of me youth (see above, IE: all Whitney, alllll the time!). So while I CAN HEAR ya’ll, I also am NOT AT ALL INTERESTED in exalting the TERF-fy white woman that is JK Rowling, or even taking into my heart “literature” steeped in that ideology. UGHHHH there’s just no space for this SWHITE (that’s white shit, just coined, right here! & yas I am that wyt(white) person) and also I CANNOT with this stilllllll! Why are Trans people shouldering all this hate, murder, atrocity for all this time, it MUST FUCKING END! and part of that end for me, is crtl alt deleting JK from the world that actually belongs to the fans now. 5. CINNAMON COKE
Here we are, #5, ya’ll still with me?! A major opportunity of this blog is to rep what the what I’m selling, BUT I also want it to be an organic list vibe and include some taste element. So here it is. Cinnamon coke, while subtly cinnamon (yo coke, feel free to ramp it up this season!) it’s marketing at it’s finest, as soon as the holiday vibes started (in Oct, cause it’s 2020, comfort seeking is necessary to survival) my mad cravings for CINNAMON COKE came a knockin’. I’m happy to be a cinnamon coke purist and spit on the ground of coke (the soda, just to be clear). That’s just me, all or nothing…and yes I do realize the problematic aspects of this and I’M WORKING ON IT!

Revamping custom boots has been my jam for a minute but it hasn’t been until recently (loss of job) that I’ve really started to see my strengths as a real commodity that I can parlay into a livelihood for myself.
